Sony PlayStation Network (PSN) is back up (mostly), and Sony is offering free gifts.
Sony's PlayStation Network (PSN) was hacked almost a month ago, sometime between April 17th and 19th 2011. This came only 18-20 days after Sony Online Entertainment laid off more than 200 employees and completely shutting down three studios. Given the standard two week notice this would put the final day for many of those employees right around April 15th, only days before the attacks were reported. To make up for all of the trouble caused by this outage and breach of private data Sony is offering users two free games out of a possible five to chose from including: Dead Nation, inFAMOUS, LittleBigPlanet, Super Stardust HD, and Wipeout HD + Fury. But, is this enough to please their loyal customers? More about: Sony PlayStation Network (PSN) is back up (mostly), and Sony is offering free gifts.
